It has happened, Papyrus Network genesis block was created:

The hard work of our team delivered the promised result — Papyrus Network is now deployed on five Authority Nodes, connected with Ethereum MainNet via Papyrus Bridge.

We would like to thank our community for patience and immense support! It is not an easy process to roll out a production blockchain network, and luckily we have got such a great community to rely upon, while our engineering team was deep in the shell scripts, Solidity code, firewalls, cryptographic suites, and other funny things.

There is a whole bunch of useful resources launched to start with Papyrus Network:

For those who are keeping ERC-20 PPR tokens, it will be music to hear as tokens are now unlocked for transfer and you can pass them to Papyrus Network using Ethereum Bridge (see the link above, do not forget to check bridge limits for your transactions). Get ready to start using them to run transactions, smart contracts and amazing dApps in one of the best Ethereum-compatible networks of all time, providing an unprecedented level of reliability, cost efficiency, and user-friendliness.

Papyrus Network launches with five Authority Nodes, three of which are operated by our amazing partners:

There is still a lot of work ahead — we plan to achieve greater decentralization of the network by increasing the number of independent nodes and removing Nodes operated by Papyrus from the network. But nevertheless — the network is ready to start serious projects now!

Following the plan that we described in the previous blog post, we will continue making business development, attracting third-party developers to launch their projects in Papyrus Network, including migrating from inefficient and problematic Ethereum MainNet.

There is no doubt that the technical potential of our network allows the highest level of usability for the dApp developers and end-users.

Here is the key constants and facts on Papyrus Network setup for dApp developers:

We are encouraging everyone interested in contributing to Papyrus open source development, running network Authority Node or launching dApp in Papyrus Network to get in touch with us: https://papyrus.network/about.html
